I've been coming to candy cloud now for months! I've tried both the hot and iced signature latte. They both come with a double shot of espresso, but you can add additional shots for only $0.40!! These lattes IMHO blow away Starbucks and competitors. I add the brown sugar drizzle and it's life changing.
Candy Cloud is a cute spot in a strip mall, plenty of parking. The best part is they are v open late. We wanted a place to chill and get some boba and came here. You order at kiosk and can make your adjustments and add ons. Pay at the kiosk and wait for your name or order number to be called. They were quick with making my horchata with boba. I enjoyed my drink, wished it was slightly sweeter but still good. They have different types of drinks from teas, lattes, shakes etc so would come back and explore their menu some more. They have some seating if you're looking to chill.
I've been to Candy Cloud three times so far. I've ordered the iced lattes and shaken espresso. The drinks have been consistently good. I'm sure it depends on the barista/drink maker as to how aesthetic it will look, but it's always such a delicious coffee. I always get unsweetened oat milk with mine and it's actually still decently sweet. The shaken espresso is less sweet and stronger than the iced latte. I love how rich and bold the coffee is and how creamy/milky the overall flavor is. It's honestly so good. I don't find it to be overpriced unless you're adding a ton of customizations. I find it to be less expensive than Starbucks and highly worth it. The reviewer that says they use fake or artificial flavoring and show photos of their syrups - those are Smartfruit 100% Real Fruit Puree , they don't have any additives, are non-gmo, don't have added sugar and are shelf stable. You can do your research. It isn't a bad product for smoothies.
Me and my friend stopped in for refreshment at Candy Cloud. I got the pretty Blue Coconut Lemonade with strawberry popping boba on ice. It's very sweet - no way to adjust the level of sweetness. My friend enjoyed their milk tea latte with sweet foam and boba although they wanted to adjust their ice level. Cool calm and relaxing here this morning.
The drinks we ordered were overall pretty good. Very fun presentation and easy to take the drinks to-go since they are made fresh and then "canned". I wonder how long they would last in a fridge if you wanted to stock up? But of course we opened them and drank them right away to try. My drink was a lemon strawberry concoction mixed with some vanilla soft serve. It was really good. My only critique is really that this isn't a "boba tea" place. I would consider them more of a "smoothie" or "frozen drink" spot, but the drinks were good. We left overall satisfied
I've tried this place a few times. The first time I came, I realized that I need to order from an iPad vs talking to a real person. I just downloaded the app so I don't have to wait now. The mango with boba was good but to me I thought it was a tad too sweet. The milk tea without boba was just ok. The chocolate milk shake was good. I like the containers that the drink is in - super cute!!
Its a small place but the inside is really cute. Service is great! Parking isnt an issue. Now for the drink. I had the PURPLE POTION which is thei version of the ube. I love it! The best thing about it is everything is customizable. The kind of milk, milk sweetness, ice or blended, drink sweetness, what kind of syrup and drizzle. I love it! I can already see myself frequenting the place. Definitely coming back to try new stuff! Happy drinking!
First time trying this place. I love the interior-it is nice, clean, and modern. The staff were friendly when I asked for recommendations. I decided to order their mangonade with brown sugar boba with 50% sweet. It tastes refreshing however it was on the sweeter side becuase of brown sugar boba. Next time I will only get 25% and I think it would be perfect. For now thumbs up and will return and try their other drinks.
